The National Service Authority (NSA) has honoured the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Asokwa, Hon Amoh Kamel, for his exceptional contributions to the authority’s administrative operations.
The accolade was presented during the NSA’s Ashanti regional delegates’ conference held on Wednesday, 17th June 2026, in Kumasi.
The conference was organised to recognise outstanding employees, partner institutions, and prominent individuals whose dedication and resources have been pivotal in resolving operational challenges faced by the authority and to elect new executives.
NSA Regional Director Mr Emmanuel Reagan Fynn commended Mr Kamel, describing him as a proactive leader who consistently provides the critical resources necessary for the authority to execute its mandate.
”The Asokwa MCE is always our first point of contact whenever the municipal branch requires assistance,” Fynn stated, adding that the “problem-solving” leader highly deserved the plaque of honour, which serves to motivate both him and other public officers to do more.
Several other notable figures and corporate entities were also honoured at the event for their collaborative support.
They include the MCE for Juaben, Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu; the Mayor of Kumasi, Ofori Agyemang Boadi; the MCE for Oforikrom, Anwel Sadat Ahmed; the Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo, Hon Adelaide Ntim; and the management of Twelling Company.
