In a vibrant display of national pride and community spirit, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon Abubakar Sedik, has donated customised Ghana jerseys to key stakeholders across the district ahead of the Black Stars’ crucial FIFA World Cup group match against Croatia.
The presentation, which took place on Saturday, 27 th June 2026, forms part of the DCE’s initiative to galvanise support for the senior national team while fostering grassroots unity.

Handing over the jerseys, Mr Sedik underscored the unique power of football to transcend political, religious, and social divides.
