Physical work on the highly anticipated Ejisu Municipal Assembly road project is scheduled to commence on Monday, 13th July 2026, following official approval of the infrastructure upgrade.
The announcement was made by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon Jerryne Asante, who confirmed that contractors have been mobilised to begin addressing the area’s deteriorated road networks.
The upcoming project aims to significantly improve commuting conditions, enhance motorist safety, and streamline transportation across the municipality.
Local authorities have long identified road rehabilitation as a critical need for local economic and social development.
In her statement to constituents, Hon Asante expressed gratitude to the public for their patience during the planning phases and appealed for community support as heavy machinery and construction crews deploy next week.
”This project is a major step toward improving road conditions and making transportation safer and easier for everyone in our municipality,” Hon Asante said.
“I thank you for your patience and support, and I kindly ask for your cooperation during the construction period,” she added.
The assembly has urged motorists and residents to exercise patience and comply with temporary traffic management measures once work gets underway.
