The Government has submitted its annual report on the staffing position of the Office of the President to Parliament, revealing that 808 personnel were employed at the Presidency as of 31st December 2025.
Presented by President Mahama in accordance with Section 11 of the Presidential Office Act, 1993 (Act 463), the statutory report breaks down the workforce into 233 political appointees and 585 civil servants and public officers assigned to the Presidency.
The comprehensive document, which has now been formally laid before Parliament, covers the period from 1st January to 3rd December 2025.
It provides a detailed account of the names, ranks, positions, and grades of all presidential staff, as well as personnel seconded from other public services.
Under Act 463, the Presidency is legally mandated to submit this annual composition report to Parliament to ensure transparency and accountability regarding public service employment and expenditure at the state’s highest office.
