Christian Eriksen 29 years Denmark midfielder has collapsed during Denmark’s Euro 2020 match with Finland.
The Inter Milan midfielder collapsed as a throw-in was taken towards him near the end of the first half at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, with medical staff being called onto the pitch immediately.
Eriksen’s collapse lead to Denmark players crying on the pitch as they gathered around Eriksen when he was receiving treatment.
Due to this incident the Euro 2020 match on Saturday night has been postponed.

Christian Eriksen ‘awake and stabilised’
Pictures have emerged showing Christian Eriksen sitting up and awake as he was stretchered off the field after collapsing during Denmark’s Euro 2020 clash with Finland.
UEFA have also described his condition as ‘stabilised’ following the distressing scenes that unfolded in Copenhagen.
In the first half, the midfielder fell to the ground, with medics rushing to his aid.
His team-mates formed a shield as first responders performed CPR and the game was suspended.
Amid heartbreaking scenes, Eriksen’s partner Sabrina Kvist Jensen was seen being comforted by players before the TV feed was cut.
Eriksen is now in hospital.
In a short statement, UEFA said: “Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.
