The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon Johnson Asiedu Nketia has stepped into the witness box on 29th, January 2021 after submitting his witness statement on behalf of former president John Dramani Mahama on 27th, January 2021.

Hon Johnson Asiedu Nketia in the witness box was crossed examined by the lawyers of Electoral Commission of Ghana with aggressive mood that a lot of Ghanaians express mixed feeling about it, either he is trying to scared Asiedu Nketia or not.

Lawyers for Electoral Commission of Ghana raised a lot of questions and put it to Hon Johnson Asiedu Nketia and he accepts and denied some as well until it came to calculations which surprises everyone in court room.

Asiedu Nketia quickly shout when he was asked about questions relating to Techiman South constituency on presidential election. Then he said “my Lord I need a calculator” in the courtroom without shaking.

Both side of the house laughed and it was surprising in the courtroom when lawyers for Electoral Commission gave him calculator immediately to do his calculation and respond to their trial questions.

He said “my Lord are you not trying to confused me? Well all our phones have been collected from us and how can I do the calculations because I did not tally all. My Lord I think I need a calculator”.

His responses has raised a lot of controversy among Ghanaians, some saying NDC has a case, others too saying they have no case and others too wondering seeing Asiedu Nketia using calculator in court.

The best judges are in line to help the country know if NDC has some facts to prove or the Electoral Commission of Ghana and Nana Akufo-Addo will be the Winners as they told Ghanaians already.
