CoViD-19 Update Ghana: GPL and Division 1 Football Resumes 30th October 2020 – Nana Addo


The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has given his 17th Presidential Update on CoViD-19 in a Live Televised announcement.

In his submission, he revealed that 26 Positive cases of CoViD-19 has so far been recorded at KIA (Kotoka International Airport) after flights were given permission to move in and out under strict conditions of testing.

He also announced the wearing of face mask is mandatory till December 14, 2020.

Training of all contact sports has been given the greenlight. Sports fans in Ghana will be happy to hear that the GPL (Ghana Premier League) and Division 1 League has now been given permission to kickoff. 

Under strict CoViD-19 protocol observance beginning 30th October 2020.

Sitting capacity at stadium now limited to 25% with facemask a must for all.

However, he made it clear that borders, pubs, nightclubs and beaches still remain closed till further notice.
