VIDEO: Late Governor Abiola Ajimobi was Buried in a ‘5 Star Grave’ with AC

Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi has disclosed that the former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi died from multiple organs failure following complications from #COVID19 infection on June 25, 2020.

Prof. Abayomi made this known via his official Twitter handle @ProfAkinAbayomi.

Ajimobi who was also the former acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress died at the First Cardiology Hospital, Lagos.

Abayomi tweeted “We regret the death of immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajumobi who passed on today, June 25, 2020, at First Cardiologist Consultant; a private #COVID19 approved care facility in Lagos State.

“The former Governor died from multiple organs failure following complications from #COVID19 infection at age 70.

Isiaka Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi was born on 16 December 1949 to the Ajimobi family of Ibadan at Oja-Iba, Ibadan.

He started his education at Saint Patricks Primary School, Oke-Padre in Ibadan.

He completed his primary education at Ibadan City Council Primary School, Aperin.

His secondary school education was at Lagelu Grammar School.

As a high school student, he was active in athletics, table tennis, and football including serving as the school’s games prefect.

That was where he received the tag, the Archipelago.

Ajimobi’s university education was at the United States of America, where he studied Business Administration and Finance at the State University of New York, in Buffalo, New York graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree.

His MBA was in Operations Research and Marketing with a concentration in Finance at Governors State University, University Park, Illinois.

In 1980, Ajimobi married Florence Ajimobi and they have five children.

On 19 June 2020, Ajimobi was admitted to First Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Consultants Hospital in Lagos after slipping into coma following Covid-19 complications.

He was declared dead on 25 June 2020.

What has got many people fascinated days after his burial is his grave.

Yes! Where he was buried.

It is a fully furnished room with flashy lights including an air-conditioning machine (AC) fixed inside.

It looks like a 5 Star Hotel Room.
