Ghana’s new Scam president, Kwame Owusu Fodjuor, founder of the controversial Alleged fake UN leadership award scheme and the Global Blueprint Excellence Award has finally spoken to his supposed fake awards.
According to Kwame Owusu Fodjuor, the award is credible and he is very much surprise some people are calling it fake.
In an exclusive interview he granted Joy FM earlier this morning he said the awards given to some Selected High Profile Personalities are not fake as been speculated.
“I am surprised because this is an open thing that we just held. If anybody has a problem with me or our institution, they should have contacted us for clarification…I have always been an advocate for development, excellence, and in honoring others and attaching ourselves to global icons and leadership we bring them out…”
Kwame Owusu Fordjour’s award scheme became popular after it honoured some highly respected personalities including Sarkodie, Berla Mundi, Ekow Vincent, John Boadu, the Vice-Chancellor for the University of Ghana. Ekow Vincent Assafuah, Old Tafo Parliamentary Candidate for the NPP.
However, after critical scrutiny, it seems the award scheme is using the name of the UN and that of Kofi Anan, Former UN General Secretary, to make it look credible, He added.
