Guinean girl with COVID-19 who went missing in Tamale found in Accra

A young woman from Guinea who tested positive for the deadly coronavirus and was quarantined in Tamale has reportedly been found in Accra without a clear way of her path.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Alexander Kodwo Kom Abban made this revelation on Citi FM’s Saturday morning show The Big Issue. The lady was part of 10 Guineans all of who tested positive for the coronavirus and were kept in quarantine in the Northern Regional Capital of Ghana.

Her current location and the circumstances that surround her arrest were not revealed. It would remember that Salifu Saeed, Northern Regional Minister talked before the coronavirus patient in Tamale got away from the medical clinic after she was isolated had still not been found.

This was after Minister of Information Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah expressed unmistakably that all the outsiders from Guinea who tried positive for COVID-19 in Tamale would be sent back. Up to this point, the Guineans have still been in the nation as reports demonstrate that their nation of origin would not take them in an offer to maintain a strategic distance from the spread of COVID-19.
